T(A) minus 2: enroute

Arrived safe but slightly frazzled in Auckland after a day of navigating roadworks. 40% of State highway 1 seems to be under repair at present. Made for a long 10 hour trip! Great service by Sixt rental on the SUV with leeway on our late arrival. Accommodation tonight at Ibis Budget at Auckland Airport. Time now for a beer. Cheers
